About a year ago, legions of Minecraft fans around the world had their hearts broken because the beloved 6-year-old app MCProApp was sent into early retirement and was no longer supported by its original developer. However, the team at Bold Statement Productions Inc. has righted this wrong by purchasing the assets, upgrading the features, and bringing the app back to life in a spectacular new way.
Available from the App Store at no cost, MCProApp is a must-have for all Minecraft fans, whether they’re brand new to the game or have been playing for years. The app features hundreds of 2D and 3D layer-by-layer views of user generated blueprints across multiple categories. Players toggle first-person or isometric views to examine various blueprints, and choose their favorites to re-create in their own Minecraft world. There are also 2D and 3D construction grids, block IDs and advanced filters, which are helpful for calculating block counts and for correct positioning on more complicated builds.
In addition, once players have created a new build that they’re proud of, they can share it with the MCProApp community, as well as rate others’ submissions. They can also take a break from building and playing and enjoy some high quality original Minecraft fan fiction written by fellow players, or create their own stories and add to the Minecraft lore and legend.
Other MCProApp special features include:
> Precise and familiar Minecraft-based graphics and layouts
> The option to save blueprints and access them offline
> Various block and layer display filters
> Multiple camera controls and physics options
> Fresh new content added daily
“Since re-booting MCProApp we’ve heard from so many people who are overjoyed that we’ve brought it back to life and made so many major improvements,” commented Kevin Lee of Bold Statement Productions Inc. “We’re also constantly adding new content, and have several new features on the way, such as mini games, crafting recipes, a shape generator, a redstone simulator, an import and export tool, social media integration, and more. In addition, we are planning to release MCProApp for Android platform shortly. Just like the Minecraft world itself, the app will keep evolving to support and inspire players around the world!”
